World Cultures: 6 February 2009 Data Collection
It is brief, and it is located here!
Good times… Moodle? No.
(UPDATED: This is the best article assignment on the grade sheet for those that are missing this. Get this in ASAP… I will shut off this assignment soon. Thanks!)
Today, I’d like you to do some critical reflecting on our class’s
efforts to find relevant, current and interesting articles concerning
events in Central and South America.
Here are the steps:
1. Using the Delicious lists on the main Moodle page (you will need
to open multiple tabs), I’d like you to look through the articles
found by you and your classmates. Start with your period and then if
you don’t seem to connect with any of that list, then use the other
periods articles.
THESE are the articles for 2nd period.
THESE are the articles for 3rd period.
2. Look for articles that meet this criteria:
…articles that you can understand based on your reading level
…articles that have a clear connection to Central/South America
…articles that seem to help educate the reader on something
related to Central/South America
…articles that are interesting to you
3. Make a note of what search terms that the articles that you find
meet the above criteria the most.
4. Take a minimum of five of those article in your Delicious
account. Use the tag:
