About Mr. Neiffer
My name is Jason Neiffer and I am a proud member of the Social Studies Department at Capital High School. I have been teaching for 11 years, all but two in Helena. I am was born and raised in Great Falls and attended Carroll College for my undergraduate degree. I also hold a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from Walden University and I am currently in the Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Technology doctorate program at the University of Montana.
In addition to my role as teacher, I am a teacher trainer in issues of educational technology both in and out of the Helena School District. I have trained hundreds of teachers in the State of Montana and beyond on effective strategies for utilizing technology.
I have been involved in a number of programs during my tenure, teaching US History, Cisco Networking I/II, Speech, Debate, World History and my current classes: AP European History, World Cultures, History of Western Civilization I/II and Newspaper Workshop.
